It
is the policy to provide a safe work place for all
personnel and operations. GTJ strives to eliminate
or reduce all potential hazards., thereby avoiding
undue risks and accidents that can result in loss
of life, injury to personnel, damage to property
or loss of operating time and effectiveness. Safety
always takes precedence over operations or schedule.
Where hazards cannot be eliminated, personal protective
equipment and controlled areas are used to protect
personnel, equipment and facilities. |

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Basic
responsibilities in this respect are defined as:
- Inform their employees of safety and health requirements
and of their rights and responsibilities as per Qatari
Health and Safety Laws
- Identify hazardous areas and situations and verify
corrective action is taken
- Approve all operations conducted by their employees
- Assist supervisors in ensuring that employees are
properly certified and trained for tasks assigned
- Conduct Safety inspections
- Assist supervisors in correcting safety discrepancies
and when unable to correct them, notify the appropriate
supervisor.
- Report the status of safety discrepancies to supervisors
- Report all significant accidents, incidents, etc.

All safety measures are taken, water
sprinkle system, fire extinguishers and water hoses,
positioned all around factory and stores.

Fire alarm - smoke detector system installed
in factory and stores,
"Ventilation fans".

Dust vacuum system connected directly
to machines to collect saw dust.
Sites
- Our fitters and helpers use safety helmets, protective
glasses, dust masks and safety shoes to ensure their
safety.
