Qatar Communications Company (QCC) has a number of facets
to its operation, all of which must in some way be
reflected in the “Darwish-Group” web site.

QCC was formed by Kassem Darwish Fakhro & Sons (Darwish
Group) and is a long established company that is involved
in all areas of Telecommunications. This includes provision
and maintenance of Radio systems, Data, Telemetry and
Instrumentation. Over the years QCC has diversified its
activities and interests to include Security systems,
Traffic Control, Intercom systems, Marine/Aviation services,
Card access Safety and Security control systems and Consultancy
services.

supported by its Principals. We provide Q-Tel with Public
Switches, cable networks, radio and wireless equipment,
structured cable services to buildings, customer apparatus
and other supporting materials that helps Qatar’s
economy to continue in a progressive way. Principals
such as the Ericsson Group of Companies, Krone (Germany),
Schlumberger DMS (UK), Asacom (Sweden), Ferranti International
and Summit Technologies (UK) provide assistance to QCC
in providing, installing and maintaining their respective
systems throughout Qatar.
QCC undertakes provision, installation, maintenance
and support work in all of these fields; reinforcing
its commitment to customer excellence with fully equipped
workshops, customer care centres and staff that are qualified
to recognised ISO standards.
Safety and Security
Safety & Security is an area of QCC business that
is growing with the increased demand for building security
and the safety of the individual. The company provides,
installs and maintains everything in this field from
simple door access systems to sophisticated equipment
at airports for x-ray of baggage and metal detection.
CCTV technology is provided in many important areas such
as banks, ministries, embassies and residencies and remote
security alarms provide part of our contribution to help
the major banks to monitor their auto teller points.
Linked with this type of security, QCC provides monitoring
equipment for major clients to train and refer back to
emergency calls. Cybertech (Netherlands), Thales Group
(UK), Cansec (Canada), Ferranti International and Diebold
list amongst our suppliers in this field.
Road traffic control systems (controllers, lights, speed
control systems) form a large part of QCC business through
Futurit (Austria) and Dambach (Germany) as the major
suppliers.
Marine
QCC Marine Division is authorized in the Sales and Service
aspects of all Marine/Aviation Safety and Survival products
from global manufacturers including those that have approved
Solas products. QCC Marine Division Service Station is
approved by Marine Authorities such as ABS, DNV, BV,
USCG and ISO 9002-AIB Vincotte. The Marine Division deals
with the following main services:-
