Equipment is a part of the development of
Domestic Division which handles the Design,
Supply, Installation and Training of Commercial
Kitchen and Laundry Equipment to various food
service companies, Food Chains, Hotels, Clubs,
Hospitals, Catering Companies, College and
Universities, the Qatari Armed Forces, manufacturing
plants and other turn key projects.

overseas design consultants, Darwish Trading
Company assists our client base in the design
and execution of commercial kitchen and laundry
lay-outs.

AMANA EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTOR
Commercial Kitchen and Laundry Equipment
Department as part of the Domestic Division was recently
appointed by Maytag International Group to be the
Exclusive Distributor of Amana Commercial Microwave
Ovens in Qatar. As part of the agreement , trained
Service Engineers will undertakeupon the Service ,
Maintenance, Warranty Claims and Parts Sales pertaining
to commercial microwave ovens used in different food
chains such as Kentucky Fried Chicken, Burger King
, MacDonalds, Applebees Grill and Restaurant and various
Hotels and Restaurants. Each Distributor appointed
by Maytag can access the Maytag E – Pal through
their website for necessary parts, warranty claims
and other services.

architect or operation planning expert who understands

laws, mechanical requirements, labor regulations,
building codes and construction methods.
INSTALLATION. Trained food
service professionals worldwide provide, with our
assistance, services such as uncrating, setting in
place, leveling, adjusting, providing trims and hardware,
and making final connections and calibration.
IMPORTATION. Clearing of
goods through foreign customs often requires the services
of local licensed importer with a specific import
permit. Through its worldwide network of strategic
partnership, the Division arrange all these details
with skill and precision.
CONSOLIDATION. Export management
professionals can schedule multiple shipments to a
single consolidation point for coordinating container
loading through delivery to any final destination.
They can consolidate furniture décor and non-
foodservice equipments items to help reduce cost and
improve efficiency.
WAREHOUSING. Comprehensive warehousing services
are available to stage any project.
FREIGHT FORWARDING AND SHIPPING.
Our traffic and clearance professionals handle all
freight forwarding and shipping details to ensure

DOMESTIC DIVISION COMMERCIAL

SUBJECT:
Scope of works for Commercial kitchen and laundry
equipments ,Design, Supply and Build.
PHASE - 1 - CONCEPTUALIZATION
1. The client will provide the Division the required
architectural key plans, category of the project,
type of business, seating capacity and other requirements.
2. The Division will provide conceptual equipment
lay-out plans based on data provided by the client.
3. The Division will discuss with the client the
flow of operation , different areas that may be required,
if any, and welcome suggestions and changes that the
client may require.
4. The client will ultimately approve the conceptual
lay-out plan.
PHASE - 2 - EQUIPMENT LAY-OUT PREPARATION
1. The Division will provide the necessary list of
kitchen and laundry equipments based on the approved
conceptual lay-out plan.
2. The Division will select equipment, including
all required sizes, specifications and suggested manufacturers.
3. The Division will discuss with the client the
selected equipment and welcome suggestions and changes
or other variations that the client may advise.
4. The client will ultimately approve the selected
equipment and the final equipment lay-out plan.
5. The Division will prepare the approved equipment
lay-out plan and specification details..
PHASE - 3 - PREPARATION OF MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL
PLAN
1. Based on the approved equipment lay-out plan and
specification details,
the Division will prepare the mechanical and electrical
utilities plan
required prior to installation and coordination at
site.
2. The Division Engineer will coordinate with the
General Contractor at site for all
required project scheduling and implementation.
3. The Division Engineer will attend all Project
Management Meetings as
required by the Project Manager pertaining to Kitchen
Equipment
and other related technical issues.
PHASE - 4 - BID SUBMISSION AND COORDINATION
1. The Division will submit a quotation based on
the approved specifications and equipment lay-out
for the client to review including installation costs.
2. When the quotation is approved, The Division will
submit the Project Installation Bar Chart to the client
with a copy to the Project Manager which will show
the start of manufacturing in the country of origin,
shipping, delivery to site, installation, testing
and commissioning of all equipment.
3. The Division Engineer will coordinate with different
contractors at site prior to the installation of kitchen
equipment.
4. The Division Engineer will submit all required
progress reports to the Client.
PHASE -5 - TESTING, COMMISSIONING AND FINAL HAND-OVER
1. The Division Engineer will supervise the testing
and commissioning of all equipment.
2. The Division Engineer will compile all required
equipment catalogue sheets and recommended spare parts
lists.
3. The Division Engineer will demonstrate and train
the kitchen operator in the proper use and operation
of all equipments including preventive maintenance
requirements.
4. The Division Engineer will discuss all aspects
of after sales service and warrant issues with the
client prior to hand-over.
